Job Description: This job is responsible for providing advice to business unit executives and senior-level managers on Human Resources (HR) issues for various sub-lines of business within Specialized Consumer Client Solutions (SCCS). Key responsibilities include strategic planning, development, execution, and administration of effective policies and programs to achieve short- and long-term goals of a specific business unit. Job expectations include leveraging a broad perspective and dedicated network to drive organizational success through the creation and execution of human capital plans aligned to business priorities. The Human Resources Executive (HRE) will be a member of the Specialized Consumer Client Solutions HR team. This team supports a dynamic organization of predominantly sales talent spanning across Consumer Investments (CI), Employee Banking & Investments (EB&I), Preferred Banking, Advanced Client Solutions (ACS), CVL & Consumer Lending and their Performance and Enablement teams to drive growth. This role is accountable for supporting one or more of these teams. Internal employees who are currently working from home are still eligible to apply. However, if selected for the role, you may be required to work onsite in accordance with the workplace excellence policy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of HR Generalist or equivalent experience - broad experience across all areas of HR
  • Deep technical HR competence that includes HR generalist experience and broad knowledge across HR disciplines
  • Must have extensive experience in client management around complex strategic HR issues such as workforce planning, employee relations, talent development/management, change management, etc
  • Demonstrated ability as an enterprise/global thought leader who can proactively influence, drive change and innovation with strong executive presence
  • Experience working directly with/consulting a senior business leader on HR strategy
  • A proven track record in developing strategy and driving change to help drive business results and execute on key initiatives
  • Experience managing in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and highly complex environment
  • Ability to influence using a balance of technical HR expertise, business acumen, and relationship skills
  • Must have strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, ability to develop strong interpersonal alliances at all levels, and connect with senior executives on a business and personal level

Responsibilities

  • Drives the strategy for Enterprise and line of business specific Human Resources (HR) priorities in addition to ensuring organizational effectiveness across talent acquisition, performance management, talent development and learning, succession planning, compensation, etc.
  • Applies lenses of operational excellence, organizational health, and opportunity and inclusion across all HR people processes
  • Partners with senior business leaders to ensure that programs and practices are in alignment with Enterprise culture and conduct principles, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership
  • Oversees and defines the strategy for critical workforce activities, including but not limited to headcount reporting and analytics adoption/usage, financials/expenses, promotions, opportunity and inclusion, performance and talent management, and key cross-HR initiatives
  • Acts as an enterprise leader by building effective teams, developing talent, managing risk, and creating an inclusive environment that values deep and broad skills, experiences and perspectives
  • Identifies and implements strategies to improve retention, engagement, employee development, performance, and movement as well as manage and mitigate employment risk
  • Ensures the team is appropriately leveraging HR systems and reporting tools (i.e., Workday and Tableau) to inform effective and strategic decision making
