About The Position

Acadia Healthcare and Geisinger Health have partnered and opened a state-of-the-art, 96-bed behavioral health hospital in Danville, PA. This brand new facility is providing inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programming, and ECT services for both pediatric and adult patients. It will also serve as a teaching hospital for Geisinger’s College of Health Sciences, helping shape the next generation of behavioral health professionals. This hospital will meet the urgent need for accessible, high-quality psychiatric care in the region—expanding capacity and improving lives. We’re looking for a Human Resources Director who is ready to lead and make a lasting impact. We are looking for an onsite Human Resources Director. As HR Director, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team driving initiatives that create a positive, high-performance culture. Your work will influence everything from talent acquisition and retention to employee engagement and leadership development, ensuring our team is equipped to deliver exceptional care. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in HR leadership with expertise in recruitment, training, compensation, and HR systems.
  • Strategic thinker, relationship builder, and problem solver with a passion for people.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP)
  • Inpatient behavioral health HR experience
  • Union/Labor relations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR Strategy: Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
