About The Position

SummitWest Care is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support the daily HR operations of our growing home health and caregiving organization. This role is a hands-on, onsite position focused on maintaining HR compliance, processes, supporting employees and managers, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the HR department. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being a consistent, reliable presence in the office and supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or manager-level role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, onsite environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to day-to-day HR needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare or a regulated environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and policies
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure accurate, up-to-date employee records
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance
  • Oversee biweekly payroll and ensure accurate timekeeping across systems
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications
  • Coordinate with vendors on payroll, benefits, and leave administration
  • Support compliance with federal and Colorado employment laws (FMLA, FAMLI, wage & hour, etc.)
  • Maintain I-9 compliance and complete audits as needed
  • Prepare standard employee communications, letters, and documentation
  • Post jobs, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Oversee onboarding for new hires to ensure a smooth transition
  • Provide day-to-day support to managers and employees
  • Assist with employee relations documentation and follow-up as needed
  • Help maintain consistency in HR processes across departments
