About The Position

High Desert PACE is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Victorville. This role is pivotal in maintaining the heartbeat of our operations, ensuring that our staff the backbone of our participant care are supported from their first day of recruitment through their daily workflows. The HR Coordinator manages the full employee lifecycle, handles payroll administration, and provides critical administrative support to the Human Resources Department and Program Director to foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll, or a similar office management role (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and creative tools like Canva. Experience with HRIS/Payroll software is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff at all levels.
  • Must be able to work on-site at our Victorville, CA facility.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage job postings, source candidates, coordinate interviews, and conduct reference checks to find the best talent for our PACE center.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the new hire experience, ensuring all compliance documentation, background checks, and orientations are completed seamlessly.
  • Payroll & Timekeeping: Oversee daily timecard management and process payroll accurately and on time, troubleshooting any discrepancies.
  • Compliance & Records: Maintain electronic and physical employee files in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Staff Engagement: Assist the Program Director in organizing Employee All-Staff Meetings and executing Employee Recognition Programs to boost morale.
  • Digital & Creative Support: Utilize Canva, PowerPoint, and Excel to create professional presentations, flyers for internal events, and complex data reports.
  • Generalist Support: Assist the HR Director and HR Generalist with special projects and other assignments as needed.
