About The Position

Cypress Creek Renewable’s is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator for either our New York or Washington D.C. office locations. This role is responsible for performing a diverse number of administrative functions to assist the Human Resources department (including benefits, payroll, recruiting, onboarding etc.) and will play an important role in supporting efficient operations of HR functions. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is excited to join a dynamic environment in the renewable energy field.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably with some exposure to Human Resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of administration, data entry, and reporting capabilities
  • Organized, diligent, and able to manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills – ability to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, employees, and managers at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Approachable, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Human Resources, being available and present with the New York City or Washington D.C. team
  • Operate with professionalism and integrity keeping all sensitive information confidential
  • Respond to payroll related notifications, to include Verification of Employment, Unemployment inquiries, notices from Federal/State/Local agencies
  • Execute employment offer letters and associated documentation
  • Assist with ADP administration to include payroll support and benefits enrollment/changes during open enrollment and/or qualifying life event changes
  • Support recruiting interview coordination and/or travel
  • Support recruitment in job posting creating and maintaining recruitment documents
  • Assist with the Cypress Creek Renewables Internship Program
  • Support team with documentation requirements during various audit exercises
  • Manage documentation required for the NERC certified Control Center staff
  • Manage purchase orders, billing/invoicing
  • Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains current records
  • Present New Hire Orientation and related processes
  • Other duties as assigned.
