We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator in Jersey City, NJ with hands-on experience using Dayforce to support daily HR operations. This role requires accurate data entry, employee support, and cross-functional coordination with Recruitment, Benefits, Field HR, and Payroll teams. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR administrative or coordinator experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM (preferred) or comparable HR software
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, V/X Lookups, Formulas, Data validation)
  • Experience supporting audits or compliance initiatives
  • Analytical thinking and process improvement skills to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and strict compliance standards
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and customer service skills with a strict commitment to confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries
  • Execute timely and accurate entries in Dayforce HCM System including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
  • Maintain current job codes, pay rates, and organizational structures in order to minimize and/or resolve data discrepancies
  • Assist employees with Dayforce self-service, benefits, time tracking, and general policy navigation
  • Coordinate with HR functional teams to manage onboarding documentation, system setup, employee data, time card entries or pay related changes
  • Utilize Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups/Xlookups) to analyze HR metrics and generate actionable reports
  • Conduct periodic HRIS audits and support external requests to ensure regulatory compliance
