About The Position

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR department in managing daily administrative tasks and ensuring smooth HR operations. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees, helping maintain a positive and organized workplace.

Requirements

  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and organize
  • Sound judgment and willingness to ask questions / take direction
  • Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; knowledge of Canva helpful.
  • Must work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Canva helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Be a welcoming presence for visitors to the HR department.
  • Provide primary coverage for the HR front desk.
  • Handle and route phone calls for the main HR phone line.
  • Provide support for opening & closing office duties.
  • Communicate with employees regarding a variety of matters.
  • Generate & distribute recurring employee reports.
  • Assist with monitoring emails sent to the HR email distribution list.
  • Upload and add documents as appropriate to employee records.
  • Communicate and interact with external vendors as assigned.
  • Process invoices to include reviewing, reconciling, and submitting payment requests.
  • Assist employees as needed to include generation of nametags, gift cards, resetting of employee system passwords, and more.
  • Uphold the core values and policies and procedures of the department and the resort.
  • All other duties as assigned.
