The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining filing systems, typing office correspondence, distributing mail, and managing HR office supplies. Key duties include answering phone calls, creating new employee personnel files, and assisting walk-in candidates with application procedures, ensuring the application space is clean, well-maintained, and accessible. This role involves responding to employee and management inquiries regarding company and HR policies, informing HR management of employee relations issues, and maintaining the confidentiality and security of all employee and property records. The coordinator must ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, including interview documents and I-9s. The position also requires adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, reporting unsafe conditions, and welcoming guests according to company standards. Effective communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to develop positive working relationships are essential. The role involves using computers and/or point of sale systems for work-related information and performing physical tasks such as moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
