About The Position

The purpose of the Human Resources Coordinator is to serve as a resource on Human Resource related issues for the Richmond Manufacturing Site in accordance with Federal and State law and all applicable Company policies and procedures while also supporting the Human Resource Manager in day-to-day functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to create and lead strategic initiatives

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Supporting policies and procedures ensures compliance with legal and company requirements, indirectly contributing to a safe work environment.
  • Maintaining accurate employee data is crucial for effective safety management and emergency response.
  • Properly administering FMLA, disability, and leaves of absence helps ensure employee well-being and a safe return to work.
  • Facilitating and supporting local hiring processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Providing day-to-day HR customer service, resolving questions and issues.
  • Administering and leading FMLA, disability, and leaves of absence cases.
  • Acting as the power user and point of contact for Kronos and Checkpoint payroll systems.
  • Processing and administering annual compensation changes, non-standard payments, and employee rewards.
  • Providing leadership for HR process improvements, recommending new approaches and procedures.
  • Expertise in Kronos and Checkpoint payroll systems.
  • Maintaining employee personnel files and documentation, ensuring compliance with Global Internal Audit standards.
  • Evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the HR department in relation to established goals.
  • Providing support to the Plant HR Team.
  • Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
  • Supporting various HR functions, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to assist in multiple areas.
