About The Position

Health Center Inc. (also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds) is an NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities that are staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services to unionized hotel employees. We have an opening for an H.R. Coordinator based out of our Central Administration office in Manhattan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in H.R. or 2+ Years' administrative experience in an H.R/Payroll environment or a similar combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities at once
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Must be dependable and able to handle employee issues and documents in a confidential manner
  • Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Personnel file maintenance and regulatory compliance tracking
  • Maintaining other records, reports, and department logs as needed
  • Maintain HRIS database and Learning Management System as needed
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Assist in the New Employee Orientation Process
  • Answer general questions regarding policies and procedures
  • Assist in carrying out H.R. programs and procedures
  • Assist in processing payroll
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
