About The Position

The Human Resource Coordinator will assist the Human Resources Department with the day-to-day operations of the department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and is interested in learning all aspects of HR operations.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience in a business office.
  • Administrative Support experience, with human resources knowledge.
  • Sound judgement capability and discretion with confidential information.
  • Problem Solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Self-starter, organize assignments, prioritize tasks, and complete projects on time.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees and other departments.
  • Ability to produce results in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with ADP, SharePoint and Deltek Costpoint preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Updating, maintaining, and monitoring the HR compliance calendar while ensuring that the company meets all regulatory reporting requirements throughout the year.
  • Organizing, maintaining, and updating paper and electronic files in a unified filing and document control system for the HR department.
  • Ensuring that workplace posters are current and properly displayed.
  • Accurately and promptly entering data and extracting reports from ADP for all aspects of the employment lifecycle.
  • Coordinating all aspects of the onboarding processes (including background screening and drug testing) and performing new employee onboarding.
  • Assist with applicant tracking and ensure all applicants have a disposition code for the annual affirmative action plan.
  • Assisting employees with benefits questions.
  • Assisting HR Managers with HR projects.
  • Compiling and issuing mailings, as needed throughout the year.
  • Filing regulatory reports, such as EEO-1, VETS 4212, Forms 5500, etc.
  • Performing internal audits (I-9 documentation, employment posters, Personnel Folders, etc.) to ensure compliance.
  • Provide quality service to all employees and vendors. Demonstrate a courteous, respectful, and helpful attitude in all interactions whether in person, via email, or via telephone.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records, data, and other business information.
