The Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP) is recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator who enjoys helping employees answer questions and find resources. This position will be located on the UAF Troth Yeddha’ campus or on the UAA Anchorage campus. The successful candidate is expected to work on site as part of a dynamic and supportive team. ACEP fosters innovative solutions to Alaska's energy challenges and is a gateway for energy-related activity at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. To thrive in this role, you should have problem solving skills, the ability to work independently and within a team, and knowledge of payroll, accounting and human resource systems, procedures, rules and regulations. Position Details: This position is located on the UAF Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks, AK or the UAA Campus in Anchorage, AK. This is a full-time, term-funded, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 77, based on education and experience. This posting will close to applications on February 12, 2026, 11:59pm AKST . Hybrid and remote work may be approved for employees based in Alaska at the University's discretion. Requirements

  • One year college coursework in human resources, and two years of technical human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
