Position Purpose: Executes defined compliance activities, responding to inquiries, and assisting with monitoring, audits, and reporting processes. Works under established policies, procedures, and guidance to help ensure HR programs and practices align with internal requirements and applicable regulatory obligations. The Compliance Analyst partners with HR, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders, escalating issues and risks as identified. Conducts periodic, guided reviews of HR programs, processes, and documentation to support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, escalating potential gaps or concerns as identified. Partners with HR, Legal, and business leaders to ensure consistent and compliant employment practices across the organization and supports remedial activities. Supports HR compliance communications and training initiatives for the People Team, people leaders, and employees. Supports internal and external HR compliance audits by gathering documentation, preparing audit responses, and assisting with tracking remediation and follow up actions under direction. Manages and resolves HR compliance escalations and inquiries with minimal guidance, ensuring issues are thoroughly reviewed and resolved with clear communication Assists with maintaining HR compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and required records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Supports routine audits of HR files and processes (e.g., onboarding, I 9s, training completion) to ensure accuracy and adherence to established requirements. Reviews and responds to HR compliance inquiries received through shared mailboxes or ticketing systems using established guidance, escalating complex or higher risk issues for review and direction. Tracks compliance deadlines, mandatory training requirements, regulatory reporting obligations, and certification expirations, escalating risks as needed. Assists with researching federal, state, and local HR compliance requirements and summarizes findings for review by senior team members. Supports the development and distribution of employee notices, policy updates, and compliance related communications and training materials. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience required
  • 1+ years Human Resources, Compliance or a related field. required
  • Foundational working knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and/or regulations. required
