The Human Resources Business Partner will join the Office of Human Resources & Labor Relations team, contributing to departmental goals. This role involves managing the ePersonnel Action HR sub-program, which includes processing all employee-related entries such as hires, leaves, transfers, data changes, and terminations within the human capital management system. The position also oversees the benefits HR sub-program, handling employee enrollments, reviewing documentation, providing benefits information, and assisting employees with self-service modules. Key responsibilities include bi-weekly payroll preparation, verifying information, reviewing timecards in Kronos, coordinating payroll entries, and serving as a subject matter expert for Kronos. Additional duties involve responding to employment verification requests, running reports in Cognos Business Intelligence, participating in new hire onboarding and presentations on payroll and benefits, assisting senior HR staff with pre-hire processing (drug testing, fingerprinting, reference checks), coordinating agency training and development, and managing random and pre-employment drug tests. The role requires proficiency in various HR software systems.
