About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Assistant for a 9-week contract assignment in Bronx, NY. This role provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, assisting with onboarding coordination, training logistics, data management, and day-to-day HR functions to ensure efficient departmental operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support, data entry, or customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Experience supporting HR operations, onboarding, or training coordination
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize HR data using Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Develop complex PowerPoint presentations, including charts and graphs based on database information
  • Assist with training class scheduling and coordinate classroom setup
  • Create surveys and compile/analyze results for HR initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support (answering phones, ordering supplies, coordinating travel arrangements)
  • Support onboarding processes and maintain accurate HR data entry
  • Generate reports and assist with special projects as needed
  • Maintain organized and compliant HR records in accordance with policies and procedures
