About The Position

Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We are seeking a highly organized and service‑oriented Human Resources Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and employee‑facing support within our dynamic Human Resources team. In this role, you will prepare and distribute a wide range of documents and communications, coordinate interviews, and onboarding activities for temporary employees. You will help create new hire and baby announcements, manage job postings, update bulletin boards, compile annual review packets, and track performance review completions as well as maintain accurate data across reports, spreadsheets, and HR systems. This position plays an important role in employee experience, assisting with company events, recognition programs, and special‑occasion arrangements. You will greet employees and visitors, offer translation support when needed, and ensure efficient processing of HR invoices and department supplies. Additional responsibilities include creating employee badges and access credentials, supporting receptionist coverage, and handling everyday tasks such as copying, scanning, mailing, and file maintenance. Requirements

  • Must have at least a high school diploma with a proven ability to perform.
  • Always maintain information in a confidential manner.
  • Confidentiality is paramount and any infraction thereof is cause for dismissal.
  • Must have a good command of English grammar and spelling.
  • In addition, have a good command of written and verbal Spanish, with an ability to translate.
  • Possess a positive attitude and be personable, professional and pleasant, and present oneself in a business-like manner.
  • Good attendance, dependability and quality of work performance are vital.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred.
