About The Position

As part of the Human Resources team, the HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department, supporting HR projects and initiatives, and a positive experience for our employees. The role supports onboarding, records management, audits, new employee orientation, and general HR activities, as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years of general HR or administration experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • Flexible to take on variety of tasks, adaptable and can anticipate opportunities for additional contributions.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • HR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provides general HR support to the HR team and may be a point of contact for employee basic HR inquiries.
  • Actively participates as a member of the Human Resources team, participating in projects, activities and colleague work assignments.
  • Participates in programs that enhance training, communication, processes and other workflows.
  • May work to update professional licenses, certifications and renewals in employment records to ensure compliance with contract obligations.
  • Ensures data integrity in compliance with HR policies and practices.
  • Coordinates various programs/events and assists with organizations engagement efforts.
  • May coordinate or attend new hire orientations and prepare materials.
  • Prepares HR related reports and documentation, as required.
  • Assists with special projects, as assigned.
