  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 3+ years prior experience in Human Resources or recruitment role is preferred
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite software
  • Basic knowledge of employment law
  • Knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job: prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with database systems such as ADP is preferred
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist Director of Human Resources to develop, implement, and maintain internal documents, workflows, processes, procedures, and systems
  • Continuously seek to identify, improve, and automate current processes to improve the management and accessibility of key analytical data
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Director of Human Resources
  • Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data
  • Collect and review employee paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Submit employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data
  • Assist Director of Human Resources with the onboarding experience, including work with hiring managers to develop candidate criteria, attract and recruit qualified candidates, submit job postings internally and online, conduct initial phone interviews, schedule candidate interviews with the hiring manager, discuss compensation and benefits as well as job requirements with potential employees, contact references, draft job offer letters, oversee checklists for all required tasks necessary to onboard new employees, etc
  • Work with the Director of Human Resources to address any issues raised by current or newly hired employees 
  • Attend weekly Leadership meetings, 1-1 trainings with HR Director, quarterly Town Hall meetings, and other team building events as they arise
  • Coordinate and schedule HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc) and take minutes
  • Coordinate logistics for new hires to complete onboarding paperwork, orientations, and employee training sessions
  • Welcome new employees to the organization by leading orientation, also ensuring information is up to date
  • Improve skills of team members by conducting training sessions on Human Resources related functions such as utilizing the database system, completion of personnel paperwork, etc
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential, accurate, and up-to-date
  • Maintain employee confidence by ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions 
  • Maintain quality service and leadership by following organization standards. 
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys such as new hire survey, annual employee satisfaction survey, exit interview, ghosting interview, etc.
  • Ensure statutory compliance.
  • Ensure safe keeping of all administrative records.  
  • Ensure our HR department is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire, and retain our employees
  • Execute company culture and work to ensure a smooth and content workforce
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, retirement celebrations, etc.
  • Lead by example, maintain a positive team morale, and create an exceptional organizational culture
  • Commit to partnering with the leadership team to drive a service excellence culture where every employee is a problem-solver, working together to identify and correct problems that impact the customer experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned
