About The Position

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager with administrative tasks and day-to-day human resources operations in a Union environment including, but not limited to, auditing, data entry, filing, etc. The Human Resources Assistant will be required to interact with candidates, clients, and employees in a professional and positive manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. There is no predetermined application window for this position, the position will close once a qualified candidate is selected. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. 2+ years administrative support experience.
  • Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion while working with confidential or sensitive information.
  • Ability to work quickly, independently, and efficiently.
  • Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) Internet, typing, other databases and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and electronic personnel file maintenance.
  • Handle sensitive documents and data with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Follow up with applicants to expedite completion of onboarding paperwork.
  • Assist with employee orientation and onboarding.
  • Respond to employee requests for assistance in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure material readiness of HR department.
  • Assist Human Resources Manager with HR projects.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with federal, state and local laws.
  • Maintain office memos and informative postings.
  • Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office.
