About The Position

The Human Resources Administrator supports the Human Resources department by performing payroll and administrative tasks. These duties include preparing and processing payroll, maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and updating internal databases.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Payroll and/or Human Resources
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computers to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must have valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, and car insurance in good standing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Willingness to accept the most effective role
  • Maintains payroll information by collection, calculation, and entering of data.
  • Prepares and processes bi-weekly payroll by pulling reports and verifying data to ensure accuracy.
  • Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and departmental changes.
  • Provides orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.
  • Maintains human resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, as well as tracking paid-time off.
  • Forms and maintaining employee records for internal databases
  • Administers employee benefit program including helping with form completion, verifying submission, and notifying employees of approvals.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Any other duties as specified by management on an "as need" basis
