Your work behind the scenes plays a direct role in supporting our teams and enhancing the resident experience. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy problem-solving, communicating with care, and being part of a collaborative, people-first culture, this is a great opportunity to grow your HR career while making a meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS/HR software (experience with UKG, iCIMS, Awardco, or Calm is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel) for report preparation (e.g., bonus spreadsheets, turnover, and payroll reports).
  • Foundational knowledge of core HR practices, including benefits administration, payroll support, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a Human Resources environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR and payroll operations, including employee updates (PAFs, benefits changes, terminations, and more)
  • Manage employee leave tracking and pay coordination in UKG
  • Partner with Community Managers to ensure smooth, timely offboarding experiences (final pay, bonuses, documentation)
  • Help administer employee benefits, including enrollments, life events, reconciliations, and Open Enrollment support
  • Respond to employee questions through the HR Help Desk – be a go-to resource for benefits and HR support
  • Assist with unemployment claims and benefits-related processes
  • Prepare and maintain key workforce and payroll reports (headcount, turnover, anniversaries, bonuses)
  • Collaborate with Accounting on financial processes like check requests and transfers
  • Support engaging HR programs such as loyalty increases and housing initiatives
  • Help maintain and optimize HR systems like UKG, iCIMS, Awardco, and Calm
  • Ensure accurate data management and compliance with company policies
