Position Overview The Human Resources Specialist will support day-to-day HR operations with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, and onboarding/offboarding. This role partners closely with the HR Manager and serves as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to pay, benefits, and HR processes. This is an immediate-need role covering an HR team member on leave and is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys process ownership, accuracy-driven work, and being a trusted support resource. This role supports approximately 110 employees across manufacturing/warehouse, administrative, and field-based sales/service teams. Comfort supporting a multi-site workforce is important.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR experience with payroll and/or benefits exposure
  • Demonstrated experience of biweekly payroll cycle
  • Strong Excel skills (tracking, reconciliation, reporting)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Paychex Flex
  • Exposure to HSA and 401(k) administration
  • Familiarity with FMLA processes and benefit billing

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end biweekly payroll processing
  • Support benefits administration, including employee inquiries and vendor coordination
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes and documentation
  • Serve as a key HR contact for employee questions
  • Maintain HR records, tracking logs, and reconciliations
  • Assist with FMLA tracking, benefit billing, and compliance documentation
