About The Position

A leading global consumer packaged goods company is seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient HR Manager to oversee all human resources functions and office administration for its 20-employee organization. This is a hands-on role in which you will independently manage HR operations. As the company plans for future expansion, you will play a key role in recruitment, shaping company culture, ensuring compliance, and fostering an efficient and employee-friendly workplace.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Resource related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in business administration, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all HR operations and functions.
  • Administer employee benefits, including 401(k) programs and health insurance.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings and interviewing to hiring and onboarding.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on complex HR matters.
  • Offer HR insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regularly reviewing and updating HR policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and role requirements for all positions.
  • Oversee performance management and employee review processes.
  • Manage disciplinary actions and employee terminations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Participate in executive, management, and staff meetings as an HR representative.
  • Lead specialized HR projects as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
