About The Position

The Human Resources Manager will oversee HR operations for QuickBox’s two logistics warehouse facilities in Atlanta, GA, supporting organizational growth and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This role will partner closely with operations leadership to drive employee engagement, talent development, and workforce planning, while maintaining a positive, productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and compliance.
  • Experience in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide ongoing coverage for daytime, nighttime, and weekend operations with flexibility to support business needs, including during peak and Holiday season.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for two Atlanta warehouse operations, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Partner with operations leadership to support staffing needs, employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to meet business growth objectives.
  • Manage employee time and attendance policy, including conducting ongoing weekly audits to ensure progressive discipline steps are followed and that employee discipline is issued in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Oversee investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution in alignment with HR standards.
  • Review and respond to all unemployment claims thoroughly and within required deadlines, while monitoring for any additional requests or updates from the Department of Labor (DOL).
  • Support training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Monitor HR metrics, including turnover, engagement, and workforce planning, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of HR on strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support other duties as assigned to support the business and growth.
