This role owns the full people lifecycle at Coastline Equity, including hiring, onboarding, engagement, performance, and retention. The role exists to ensure our people systems are compliant, consistent, and human-centered while supporting leaders in building strong, accountable teams aligned with our values. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or 5+ years of HR experience
  • Two or more years in HR leadership
  • One or more years of full cycle recruiting and onboarding
  • Clear and proficient English communication
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle recruiting from role intake through offer and acceptance
  • Partner with department leaders to forecast hiring needs and timing
  • Own onboarding and offboarding to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance
  • Ensure new hires are set up for success from day one
  • Ensure compliance with California, federal, and local employment laws
  • Manage FMLA, leaves, accommodations, and required documentation
  • Maintain employee handbook, policies, procedures, and personnel records
  • Audit HR practices regularly to reduce risk and ensure consistency
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution
  • Conduct and support workplace investigations when needed
  • Administer performance management rhythms including reviews, coaching, and development plans
  • Support managers with documentation, feedback, and corrective action when required
  • Drive employee engagement and experience across the organization
  • Monitor retention trends and identify root causes of turnover
  • Assess culture and role fit and partner with leadership on improvements
  • Support career development and internal growth pathways
  • Povide clear HR metrics and insights to leadership
  • Support leadership planning with data on hiring, retention, and performance
  • Recommend people strategies aligned with company growth
