About The Position

The Human Resource Manager serves as a strategic and operational leader responsible for designing, implementing, and executing people strategies that support business objectives in a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with executive leadership and site leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, strengthen culture, ensure compliance, and enhance employee engagement across multiple locations. THE MANAGER BALANCES HIGH-LEVEL STRATEGIC INITIATIVES WITH HANDS-ON EXECUTION, PROVIDING LEADERSHIP AND MENTORSHIP TO THE OPERATION TEAMS WHILE REMAINING DEEPLY INVOLVED IN DAY-TO-DAY HR OPERATIONS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility.
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals, operational priorities, and long-term workforce planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and managers on organizational design, change management, leadership effectiveness, and employee relations.
  • Lead HR initiatives that support growth, performance, retention, and culture across manufacturing and corporate teams.
  • Champion company core values and actively embed them into leadership behaviors, talent practices, performance management, and employee communications.
  • Drive leadership development initiatives, coaching managers and supervisors to strengthen accountability, communication, and people leadership capabilities.
  • Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition for exempt and non-exempt roles.
  • Support succession planning and internal development to ensure business continuity.
  • Lead employee relations strategy, including investigations, corrective action, conflict resolution, and performance coaching.
  • Ensure performance management processes are clear, consistent, and aligned with company expectations and values.
  • Guide leadership through complex employee matters with a fair, compliant, and thoughtful approach.
  • Oversee HR operations, including benefits administration, leave management, HRIS systems, and employee data management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with specific attention to manufacturing workforce requirements.
  • Maintain HR policies, practices, and documentation to reduce risk and improve clarity.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to one direct report, ensuring effective HR coverage and professional growth.
