About The Position

As a Human Resources Intern, you will gain knowledge of the day-to-day operations within the HR Department. You will learn about and support functions of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies. Assist the HR team with the administration of HR programs, procedures, plans and guidelines to help align the workforce to ensure alignment and effective delivery of HR support/services to the business

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PHD degree in Human Resources or Human Resources Leadership.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, time management, critical thinking, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid CT Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Review résumés for entry‑level roles and flag qualified candidates.
  • Prepare onboarding packets and assist with new‑hire orientation logistics.
  • Assist with I‑9 audits and reverification tracking.
  • Assist with maintenance of employee records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Other responsibilities may include general HR support tasks such as organizing documents, assisting with administrative projects, and helping the team with day‑to‑day departmental needs.
