About The Position

CORDENTAL Group, headquartered in Blue Ash, Ohio, is the region's premier dental support organization. We are growing and looking to add an HR Generalist to our team! Our HR GENERALIST works closely with senior HR management in supporting a fast-paced, acquisition-minded, and customer-focused workplace. This position will carry out responsibilities related to day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, policy implementation, HRMS management, and employment law compliance. Overview of Responsibilities: Plays a focal role in Employee Onboarding including ensuring pre- and post- hire background check are completed, online “paperwork” is complete, licensure has been verified, and criminal background checks meet our standards of employment. Ensures organization is notified of the new hire’s start date and is adequately prepared. Conducts onboarding training via webinar or face-to-face and supports Office Manager’s as they continue to onboard new hires. Prepares offer letters, launches Onboarding in HRMS system, and schedules Onboarding for new hires. Ensures all documentation is in order and ensures employee files are complete. Will take an active role in staffing including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates as appropriate. Off-boards employees from organization in HRMS system and ensure separation procedures are followed. Manages the online HR files including scanning documents, verifying I-9s, maintaining I-9 files, and hiring employees in the HRMS system. From time to time, manually enters new hire documentation based on business need. Routinely audits HR files to ensure completion and/or compliance. Acts on items found to be deficient or out of compliance. Supports human resources and organizational initiatives, including but not limited to performance management, talent planning, employee engagement, employee relations, turnover goals, and retention efforts. Proficient at utilizing HRMS system features and reporting to accomplish tasks. Supports the organization’s need to be paperless and makes full use of resources available. Proficient utilizing technology solutions to achieve traditional tasks. Supports acquisition activities as needed. These responsibilities may include file set-up, HRMS project components, verifying data, scanning documents, conducting onboarding or training sessions, and proofing general / operational information to be presented to employees. Partners with HR and Leadership team to ensure understanding, interpretation and application of CORDENTAL and affiliated company’s policies and practices are aligned with organization’s philosophy; uses available resources and tools to seek out answers. Supports the company’s performance management programs throughout CORDENTAL. Adjusts or modifies forms in accordance to company goals, launches review process in HRMS in a timely fashion, and follows-up on any issues or challenges in the process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other area of applicable study
  • 2 - 5 years in Human Resources Generalist role
  • Superior sense of customer service, confident in decision making
  • Deadline oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Displays excellent negotiation skills with a strong business acumen
