Job Description Job Summary: Responsible for duties associated with the following human resources functional areas: employee relations, benefits, employment, and HRIS. This position requires familiarity with standard employment concepts, practices, and procedures. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in a Human Resources discipline.
  • Experience interacting with senior level business executives.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using HRIS and recruiting software systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides advice and guidance to employees and managers in matters relating to conduct, performance, attendance and dispute resolution.
  • Assists supervisors and managers with various disciplinary actions, while creating documentation.
  • Provides interpretation of the applicability to various disciplinary action situations.
  • Provide training, education and counseling for employee requests regarding human resources, benefit, payroll and HRIS issues.
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for one or more departments.
  • Maintains records of personnel-related data, including updating HR databases and processing employee requests.
  • Serve as site point of contact to send court orders, garnishments, and child support paperwork to Payroll for processing.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment laws.
  • Assist and responds to core HR audits and action plans.
  • Participates in new hire orientation and processes various new hire employee documents in the HRIS system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
