Campers Inn RV is a family operated RV business and growing! We are seeking a Full Time Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The focus of this role will be supporting location managers through guidance and process for all aspects of HR. A desire to learn and grow is a must in this role. This position will be part of the Corporate team located in Jacksonville, Florida and is an integral member to the HR Department with opportunity for growth! Our goal is to attract and maintain a highly competent and fairly compensated workforce.   POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Generalist performs a variety of duties in support of the Human Resources Department including ensuring compliance with new hire documents, providing information and assistance to applicants and new hires.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates skills in writing and communication
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines related to termination and general HR
  • Skill in preparing detailed reports
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Attention to detail and ability to cope with several tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two or more years of experience in HR
  • Usual office equipment including computer, phone, copier and calculator
  • MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Company system applications
  • Other software as applicable
  • Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time. In addition, individuals must be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 20 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • HR Certification such as SHRM, PHR, HRCI preferred
  • ADP Workforcenow preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists the company in implementing and maintaining Human Resource processes for Terminations, Employee Relations, Work Comp and interdepartmental crossover topics
  • Provides guidance to managers in relation to the HR department best practices
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding personnel information
  • Responds to employee and manager inquiries in timely manner
