This is currently a part time position with the potential to become full time. The anticipated hours are weekdays, with a general requirement of 15 - 25 hours a week. Specific scheduling requirements will be discussed during interview and hiring process. Under direct supervision, Human Resources Assistant is responsible for performing HR-related responsibilities and works closely with other members of the administrative team, supporting the overall mission of the organization. The HR Assistant carries out the generalist responsibilities to provide support in the following functional areas: Employee/ Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Employee Engagement and Administrative tasks. Responsibilities also include new employee orientation, off boarding, leave management, compliance, policy interpretation and special projects. The HR Assistant serves as the first point of contact for management and staff regarding standard human resource related inquiries.
