We’re looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) professionals who is passionate about supporting people and building a strong organizational culture. You will play a key role in supporting organizational effectiveness by partnering with leadership, delivering HR services, and ensuring compliance. This role will support employee training, compliance, employee relations, and provide tactical and strategic HR support to leaders across the business. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and a trusted advisor who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Must have California and Colorado experience! Required
  • 3+ years of HRBP experience, preferably in an Construction industry.
  • Solid understanding of HR laws and best practices (FMLA, ADA, WC, EEOC, etc.).
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., SharePoint, ADP, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly onboarding sessions and manager huddles to ensure smooth new hire integration.
  • Support and contribute to bi-weekly manager meetings by preparing materials and gathering updates.
  • Manage and track employee compliance training and uptraining across departments.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and process integrity.
  • Conduct regular employee file audits and lead HR file clean-up projects, ensuring correct document placement, naming conventions, and archiving of outdated materials.
  • Provide support with employee relations investigations, ensuring proper procedures and complete documentation.
  • Manage various employee trackers and ensure accurate documentation related to: Workers’ Compensation (WC) Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Leaves of Absence (LOA/FMLA) Attendance Performance
  • Assist in managing FMLA/ADA/LOA cases, ensuring compliance, proper documentation, and regular weekly case reviews.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with managers on open workers’ compensation claims to support progress and resolution.
  • Support the Director of HR in building and maintaining SharePoint sites for leadership and employees.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees, including inquiries related to benefits and policies.
  • Assist in overseeing the Ethics inbox and hotline, ensuring proper intake and routing of concerns.
  • Guide and support managers in writing corrective actions, ensuring consistency and proper documentation.
  • Help drive leadership development, providing weekly training sessions and uptraining in line with the Director’s development plan.
  • Offer HR-related guidance to leadership, contributing to a high-performance culture.
