About The Position

Westside Children's Therapy is hiring an HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted people leader across our Chicagoland clinic network. This is a field-based, multi-site role for a seasoned HR professional who is passionate about developing early-career talent, coaching frontline leaders, and driving engagement and retention in a fast-growing pediatric healthcare organization. This role reports directly to the CHRO and partners closely with regional and clinic leadership across the greater Chicago area. Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2–3+ years in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or Employee Relations role
  • Proven experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations
  • Experience working with hourly or early-career workforces
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices
  • Ability to coach and influence leaders at multiple levels of an organization
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
  • Data-literate: able to read workforce trends and translate them into leadership conversations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, behavioral health, or human services experience strongly preferred
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional and clinic leaders across Chicagoland to support day-to-day people management and workforce strategy
  • Coach clinic directors and frontline supervisors on performance management, feedback, and employee development — helping emerging leaders grow into managers who embody the Growth and Teamwork at the heart of our G.R.E.A.T. Outcomes values
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance concerns, and workplace investigations
  • Advise leaders on consistent policy application, employment law, and HR best practices; in a healthcare environment, compliance protects our people, our patients, and our license to operate — and you'll ensure leaders understand and take that seriously
  • Analyze workforce metrics including turnover, engagement scores, and retention trends to guide leadership decisions and recommend solutions
  • Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives that strengthen culture and reduce attrition
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support onboarding and integration of new employees, especially early-career staff
  • Facilitate and support leadership training and development programs for clinic leaders and supervisors
  • Support change management efforts during periods of organizational growth
  • Travel regularly to clinic sites across the Chicagoland region to provide on-site HR support
