About The Position

The purpose of the Human Resources Business Partner- HCBS is to provide support to designated divisions of the company in all areas of personnel management including on-boarding, payroll processing preparation, benefits administration, and employee relations in accordance with established company policy and applicable state and federal laws.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred or equivalent coursework
  • Previous experience within HR functions and a HRIS system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with employees
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience doing new hire on boarding and orientations through an online platform
  • Excellent organization and prioritizing skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Paycom is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process new hire onboarding through HRIS and conducting Right Start to Excellence orientation with each new hire via online platform
  • Prepare and maintain all employee personnel and payroll files assuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality
  • Assist in the administration of annual benefits and performance evaluations
  • Assist employees with routine inquiries concerning payroll, benefits, personnel policies, employment openings
  • Partner with division leaders to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
  • Provide support and guidance to managers in coaching and counseling employees
  • Assist in implementation of all company sponsored events/programs for employees
  • Assist the corporate HR team in scheduling/coordinating continuing education as deemed necessary
  • Investigate any grievance filed by an employee and recommend resolution
  • Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager and division leaders
