Provides quality professional human resource services to employees at an adult correctional center. Interprets policies and procedures and provides guidance on benefits, leave, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), payroll, human resource transactions, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), workers' compensation, and other human resource functions. Resolves issues between Human Resources and Payroll, Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM), Budget, and Department of Accounts (DOA). Encourages, promotes, and enhances the healing environment by modeling the way and utilizing creative means to improve customer service delivery.
