This position is part of Extension’s Human Development and Relationships Institute. The Institute promotes the development of resilient individuals, families, and communities across Wisconsin and at every stage of life through meaningful partnerships and research-based education. This position has a primary focus on parenting and family relationships. This position will design, deliver and evaluate educational programs and resources for parents and caregivers related to early childhood development, positive parenting, and resilient families. This position will also collaborate with community partners to identify family needs, co-host programs in trusted locations, and build and serve as a member of coalitions that support children, parents and families. As part of our institute, this position will also contribute to statewide initiatives and research in collaboration with Extension specialists and fellow educators. County Location The main office for this position is located in Stevens Point, WI and the primary programming focus is Portage County; however, some programming may also be conducted over a broader geographical area. In Person It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Evening/Weekend Work This position may be required to work occasional nights and weekends to meet the program needs and priorities of the communities served. Travel Expectations It is expected that employees will make individual arrangements for transportation adequate to meet position responsibilities and essential job functions.
