About The Position

Human Capital Specialist The Opportunity: Human capital isn’t just about policies, it’s about people and mission success. As an HR Specialist on our team, you’ll engage with clients to help them achieve their human capital goals, directly impacting a growing organization. You’ll provide basic customer support related to human resources payroll, benefits and other HR inquiries. You’ll deliver accurate and efficient solutions via live phone, email, and a HR self-service system, with exceptional customer service. You’ll take ownership of HR questions regarding leave of absence, payroll inquiries, benefits enrollment and eligibility, onboarding and routine HR questions and follow them through to a resolution. You’ll maintain and use a knowledge management system to fully research and to provide correct guidance in responding to employees. You’ll be responsible for escalating issues in a timely manner to ensure a positive end user experience while facilitating escalations to program leaders as required. Join us. The world can't wait.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in human resources
  • Experience maintaining a knowledge base to support self-service, increase accessibility of information, and decrease resolution time
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to research and process a wide range of concepts, practices, and legal and regulatory requirements to respond to inquiries
  • Ability to effectively meet requirements
  • Ability to exercise judgement and tact and diplomacy with stakeholders
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the DoD or Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and SharePoint
  • Ability to present and explain findings to teammates and leadership teams
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and timelines
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent customer service skills
