About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Capital Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is excited to launch a career in Human Resources. This role provides broad exposure across the HR function, with a focus on onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, rewards and recognition coordination, and overall administrative support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of HR, administrative, or customer service experience (internships welcome)
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Dayforce experience a plus)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow into a broader generalist role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires once an offer is accepted
  • Prepare and manage all onboarding documentation and communications
  • Coordinate background checks, pre-employment requirements, and Day 1 readiness
  • Facilitate a smooth and engaging onboarding experience
  • Maintain accurate and compliant new-hire files and documentation
  • Manage Foundry Ambassador program
  • Facilitate onboarding process for temporary employees and/or independent contractors
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment support
  • Help facilitate new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and termination-related benefits actions
  • Oversees end-to-end leave administration, including processing employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations (FMLA, ADA, PTO policies), maintaining accurate records, and serving as the primary point of contact for leave-related inquiries
  • Support annual open enrollment activities including communication, troubleshooting, and data validation
  • Partner with benefits providers to resolve employee inquiries
  • Perform routine data entry and updates to ensure accurate, timely employee records
  • Run standard HRIS reports and support data audits
  • Assist with workflow updates, system configuration, and employee self-service troubleshooting
  • Serve as the day-to-day administrator for the company’s Rewards and Recognition program.
  • Coordinate recognition events, milestones, and quarterly/annual awards
  • Partner with HR leadership to enhance and evolve the program over time
  • Support reporting, analytics, and ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Human Capital team across a variety of functions
  • Assist with updating company policies as necessary and compliance tasks
  • Maintain organized and secure HR files and documentation
  • Assist with special initiatives that support culture, engagement, and the overall employee experience
