About The Position
The Assignment Specialist I is responsible for the day-to-day work between Longbridge Financial and its subservicer and vendors ensuring the subservicer is operating in a manner that is consistent with LBFs legal and regulatory obligations, contractual requirements, and performance expectations for loans that are soon to be eligible or are eligible for Assignment to HUD. This position is located in LBF’s Houston, TX office M-F.
Requirements
- Previous experience handling / working on FHA HECM Assignment process
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
Responsibilities
- Assist with reporting for loans near 92-96% MCA to ensure all documentation is obtained for assignment packages.
- Work with document custodian and internal teams to obtain documents needed for assignment.
- Understanding requirements and curative work for loans that have collateral and doc issues.
- Proactively work impediments that will prevent assignment.
- Work with the subservicer to ensure all documents are in their possession and ready for assignment.
- Documents all assignment activities, actions taken, delays, follow ups and phone conversations.
