About The Position

At Hitachi Energy, safety is not just a priority — it is a core value that shapes how we design, build, and operate our facilities. As the HSSE Manager for a new manufacturing site, you will play a pivotal role in setting the foundation for safe, reliable, and high‑performing operations from day one. You will work at the heart of a major facility build and start‑up, partnering with project teams, construction leaders, contractors, and site leadership to embed learning, risk awareness, and operational resilience into every phase of the journey. Your impact will extend well beyond compliance — you will help shape a culture where people feel empowered to speak up, learn, and improve together while delivering world‑class results. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. This role offers visibility, autonomy, and the ability to build something lasting — not just a site, but a system that enables people to go home safe every day while supporting Hitachi Energy’s mission to build a more sustainable energy future.
