About The Position

The Home Study and Post Release Services (HSPRS) Supervisor is responsible for supervising HSPRS Case Managers and activities related providing effective case management that is consistent with internal Endeavors procedures and U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) policy. The supervisor provides an array of comprehensive support and services to case managers in order to ensure they are providing effective services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience relevant to the position and working with vulnerable or migrant populations; 3 years preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible manner
  • Able and willing to travel domestically up to 25% of time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must pass FBI and CA/N checks
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Driver’s License with clean driving record required.
  • Master’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields; or bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years progressive employment and supervisory experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
  • Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership for HSPRS case managers who are working with children and their sponsors.
  • Understanding and proficiency in child welfare best-practice principles to provide recommendations related to safety for children case managers are working with.
  • Participates in regular supervisory sessions, case reviews, team meetings and other meetings as required, and training as required by the contract or the Agency.
  • Oversees the responsibilities for data entry and maintaining case files.
  • Ensures completion of all paperwork and service documentation in a timely manner.
  • Actively establish, enhance, and maintain relationships with non-profits/ community organizations.
  • Comply with Endeavors and U.S. Government policies and procedures governing the program and ensure that the program is operating at maximum efficiency.
  • Meet or exceed program productivity expectations on a regular and sustained basis.
  • Ability to perform duties and services remotely from home.
