About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Supervisor to join our team on-site in Cambridge, MA . In this role, you will provide dedicated support for construction and capital projects within a pharmaceutical environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while encouraging a culture of safety across all operations. Oversee day-to-day HSE activities across construction and capital project sites. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to maintain a safe work environment. Provide mentorship and training to contractors and project teams on safety protocols and standard processes. Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
  • Ensure construction projects follow health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
  • Deliver health and safety training programs, including new hire safety orientation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance records.
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and other interested parties to address potential risk management and safety issues.
  • Supervise adherence to OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and other relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Perform site risk assessments, safety audits, and safety meetings to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.
  • Support the process for supervising injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
  • Act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the subject matter expert.
  • Oversee plans, playbooks, and procedures making sure playbooks are current, complete, and effectively implemented.
  • Find opportunities to reduce costs while improving the quality of services.
  • Respond to customer member concerns.
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff members.
  • Resolve sophisticated problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
  • Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
