Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability, strong influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to troubleshoot and in providing new ideas to improve process efficiencies.
  • Past experience in an HSE Administration role or similar, with exposure to Enablon (desirable).
  • 5 years or more in an administrative function; working across utilities, mining, oil and gas or similar industry preferred
  • Administrative experience working across multiple sites and/or for an entire organization.
  • Advanced/Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Past experience in an HSE Administration role or similar, with exposure to Enablon (desirable).
  • 5 years or more in an administrative function; working across utilities, mining, oil and gas or similar industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the EDL corporate HSE function on NA administrative issues relating to EDLs online HSE Management System (Enablon).
  • Reviewing and updating formatting relating to Health and Safety documentation (i.e. procedure and report development).
  • Processing of invoices relating to NA Health & Safety expenditure (coding and goods receipting).
  • Raising Purchase Orders relating to Health & Safety expenses.
  • Working with relevant personnel (i.e. procurement) to procure team HSE supplies (i.e. PPE).
  • Assisting with the preparation of scheduled and ad-hoc Health & Safety meetings (taking meeting minutes, distributing minutes to key personnel and managing records).
  • Actively completing and distributing NA Health & Safety information Dashboards out to the respective regional stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Completing NA tasks relating to HSE support systems (including but not limited to ChemAlert and Blackline).
  • Assisting with the development of HSE Communications and team presentation material.
  • Assisting with internal and external training coordination (i.e. arranging face-to-face training, collating training records, booking meetings).
  • Assisting with the coordination of HSE team events, including teambuilding.
  • Assisting with booking external team training and travel.
  • Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligations.
  • Support and comply with Company policies and procedures as advised and documented in the Company’s employment policies as amended from time to time and as directed by Managers/Supervisors.
  • In addition to the duties set out above, the Health & Safety Administrator may be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the Health & Safety Director.
