About The Position

The Youth Coordinator provides essential administrative, logistical, and spiritual leadership to ensure youth events, gatherings, and other endeavors are successful.

Requirements

  • Agree to Athey Creek Church’s doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/ Vision statement.
  • Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the Scriptures.
  • Possess strong administration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and continually seek to improve the ministry.
  • Competent computer skills including MS Office, Dropbox, and typing.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in staff meetings and special events
  • Work with youth leaders to manage high school event logistics, including schedules, vendors, and supplies.
  • Provide support for high school events, including camps and mission trips.
  • Mentoring high school students and leading specialized events.
  • Help manage the high school social media accounts.
  • Coordinate leaders and communicate logistics for high school events and gatherings.
  • Keep the high school spaces organized and well-stocked.
  • Produce online content, including prep work, content creation, and performance.
  • Work as a team with ACC staff, always edifying one another.
  • Assist the Director of Youth to manage vendor and program-related contracts, proactively monitoring timelines, deliverables, and renewal requirements.
  • Coordinate with staff and the Finance team to ensure timely submission and accuracy of expenses, reimbursements, and required documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned
