About The Position
Full time 9th-12th grade certified English Langua ge Arts Teacher needed at Lathrop High School for the 2026-2027 school year. This position would more than likely be 2-3 preps depending on how we divide the courses. The ELA department includes 3 full-time teachers to split all the 9-12 ELA courses. Lathrop High School is part of the Lathrop R-II School District which is located in Lathrop, MO. Lathrop is fortunate enough to have the small town feel with the conveniences of being by a large city. Lathrop is located off of I-35 and is approximately thirty minutes north of Kansas City. Lathrop High School has approximately 275 students in grades 9-12. The district is on a 4 day school week (Tuesday-Friday) with in-services for staff occurring on Mondays (approximately one a month).
