We're growing rapidly and are looking for a Human Resources Management Business Analyst. This role is located in Frankfort, KY. Hybrid work environment, on-site up to 3 days per week. CGI is seeking a HRM Business Analyst to analyze Human Resources business processes, focus on ERP configuration and support, gather requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and focus on process optimization. Your future duties and responsibilities: Analyze HR business processes: Partner with HR stakeholders to understand and analyze current processes related to Core HR, Position Management, Benefits Administration, and Absence Management. ERP configuration and support: Configure and maintain the ERP system to support HR business needs, including employee records, position data, payroll integration, and absence policies. Requirements gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and validate functional requirements for HR business processes and translate them into system configuration and design specifications. Process optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work on system enhancements to streamline HR workflows and increase operational efficiency. Testing and implementation: Participate in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, end-user training, reference table configurations, data conversion, and cutover activities. Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Provide ongoing functional support to HR users and resolve system-related issues promptly during implementation and post-go-live stabilization. Data management and reporting: Ensure accurate data management and support reporting needs within the ERP system related to HR processes, employee records, positions, and absence data. Documentation: Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, training materials, and process workflow documentation. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 5+ years of business analysis experience. A minimum of 2 years of ERP or HR systems experience, as an ERP Business Analyst, HRIS Analyst, or HR Systems Specialist with exposure to Core HR, Position Management, and/or Absence Management modules. ERP knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems such as CGI Advantage, SAP HCM, Oracle HCM, Workday, PeopleSoft, or Infor. Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations. Technical skills: Proficiency or aptitude with ERP configuration tools, HR reporting tools, SQL basics, and data migration concepts. Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from agency HR staff to executive leadership. Bachelor's degree required. Preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Public Administration, or related field. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CGI Advantage HRM is highly valued, but not required
  • ERP Implementation experience is highly desired, specifically HR modules.
  • Familiarity with SQL, database queries, and XML
  • Government domain knowledge: Understanding of public sector HR operations, civil service rules, position classification systems, or government payroll processes is strongly preferred.
