About The Position

ALKU is seeking an HR professional with a knack for data entry and back-end process maintenance and optimization. This person will be the expert on the company’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS); responsible for standard day-to-day administration in addition to identifying areas/features that will allow the department and its related corporate functions to operate efficiently and ensure accuracy. The HRIS Specialist will work within the Human Resources team as an independent person while collaborating with colleagues of all levels.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Time management skills that support urgency and diligence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Fast learner
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Two to three years of hands-on HRIS administration experience is required
  • General knowledge of HR inner workings between corporate functions

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources accreditation and/or experience working for a staffing company preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own all administrative tasks and projects within the company’s HRIS, including but not limited to: Onboarding & offboarding –proper verifications, set-up, allocation, etc.
  • Employee data storing, research, and implementation of new features, etc.
  • Collaborate with other corporate functions, such as Payroll, Benefits, and Technology, in order to enhance and support strategic efficiencies across corporate functions
  • Generate and prepare HR reports for various stakeholders
  • Provide support in the form of training and serving as a troubleshooting resource for users of the system
  • Assist with other general HR responsibilities as needed
