About The Position

This position is a global support role, offering hands-on experience across a wide range of HR disciplines. This person will report directly to the Global Human Resources Director with a dotted line to the U.S. Senior HR Generalist, and you will play a pivotal role in supporting the global Payroll Manager, global Talent Director, and Canada HR Business Partner. In the role of HRIS and Onboarding Coordinator, you will be a key factor in processes that enable departmental success. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of HR system processes, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating steps of the recruitment and onboarding process, as well as contributing to the positive workplace culture. In the role of HRIS and Onboarding Coordinator, you will be joining a fast-paced Human Resources team that delivers innovative solutions to tough problems and prioritizes a service mindset. This position is fully onsite and working from our Riverside office location. Currently, the working hours for this role are full-time, 40 hours a week. Please note that business needs may cause occasional variants to working arrangements, locations, and/or hours.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full recruitment and onboarding process, including
  • Coordinating interview scheduling with internal and external stakeholders
  • Distribute offer materials through company platforms; facilitate conditions-of-employment requirements, including drug screenings and background checks
  • Schedule New Hire Orientation with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Complete I-9 verification and Employment Authorization documentation in compliance with federal guidelines
  • Process employee lifecycle changes — new hires, terminations, promotions, demotions, and organizational adjustments — across all company systems (Dayforce, Employee Navigator, TransAmerica, and Optum)
  • Maintain and update manual tracking tools (e.g., Leave of Absence Tracker) to ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping
  • Generate reports and support routine audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as the first point of contact for system-related technical issues and employee benefit inquiries, including login assistance, insurance card coordination, etc.
  • Maintain and update Human Resources content on the company intranet in accordance with established update cadences
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including process documentation and organization/maintenance of departmental resources
  • Demonstrate commitment to organizational values and goals
  • Demonstrate agility in taking on additional responsibilities as needed
