The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the organization's Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role ensures data integrity, optimizes system performance, and delivers workforce reporting and analytics to support strategic HR and business decisions. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations: System Administration & Support: • Maintain and troubleshoot the HRIS system (e.g. AX, D365 UKG, WORKDAY, ADP, SAP, Oracle) • Serve as the first point of contact for system-related issues and enhancements • Manage configuration, workflows, and permissions within the system • Support various large interface integrations between the application systems and resolving issues between the interfaces in a timely manner. Maintains and uses the understanding of system setup, interdependencies, and data flow to track down system and interface problems Data Management and Process Improvements: • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee records • Conduct regular data audits and resolve discrepancies • Maintain organizational structure, job codes, and position data. Reporting & Analytics: • Create standard and custom reports for HR and business stakeholders • Provide insights into workforce trends, turnover, headcount, and compliance • Support data needs for audits, compliance, and internal metrics • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities • Partner with HR functional teams (recruiting, benefits, payroll) to streamline processes • Lead HRIS system implementations, upgrades, and projects which includes the following tasks: schedule and lead HRIS project meetings; provide system demonstrations; perform gap analysis between existing and new system; identify critical business or end-user requirements; identify potential issues and research possible solutions; work with vendor and staff to resolve issues; perform system setup and configuration; create data load templates; load data into new system; validate the load process; develop test plan, conduct and coordinate system testing with appropriate parties; troubleshoot any implementation issues; recommend and implement software upgrade paths; continuously monitor and stay current on new features contained in new releases of the software; and support projects with research, analysis, coordination and communication.
