What you'll be doing… You will work closely with functional HR teams and IT to manage projects for internal customers. You’ll translate business requirements into Workday solutions with clear technical specifications. You’ll configure Workday Recruiting, utilizing delivered features and advanced AI capabilities to provide automated solutions that move the business forward and deliver results. You’ll provide documentation, test plans and lead and execute testing on all technology projects. Additional responsibilities include: Assessing the business information and system solutions through configuration and automation. Facilitating requirements for system integrations, extending our custom solutions by partnering with Technology teams. Creating and managing project plans, roadmaps, and status reporting to produce results and meet deadlines. Performing reviews of documented requirements with IT management and development staff to ensure a complete understanding of the business goals. Managing the planning and testing of products/system enhancements, troubleshooting production issues, and retesting fixes. Providing leadership updates through regular communication and presentations. Creating all User Acceptance testing documentation and building a comprehensive document that outlines a consistent standard and user-friendly solution that creates traceability back to the requirements/design This position can be located in any valid Verizon location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting, including: configuring business processes, sub-processes, entry conditions and validation rules, configuring job application and job posting templates, questions and questionnaires, career sites, candidate grid, help texts, guided tours, step label and dynamic action label overrides, condition rules, automatic stage routing, dispositioning, custom notifications and alerts, configuring job requisitions and job postings related business process.
  • Experience in Project Management, Human Resources processes, systems, policies and data.

  • An understanding of Workday job profiles, evergreen requisitions, confidential requisitions and experience.
  • An understanding of Workday Docs functionality for offer letters and employment agreements generation.
  • Workday Pro certifications.
  • Recruiting tenant setup experience.
  • Experience designing system requirements.
  • Experience building testing plans and scenarios.
  • Experience resolving technical issues with minimal direction.
  • Experience with agile methodology including Sprint planning and leading scrum calls.
  • Strong partnership skills that build results-oriented relationships with customers.
  • Experience with ticket tracking systems (preferably JIRA).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to work independently with limited direction.
